Your Responsibilities
As a computational engineer in structural analysis, you will play a central role in our product development by contributing with technical calculations related to strength. You will work closely with designers and other engineers in cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet requirements for strength, durability, and environmental resistance.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform FEM analyses of static and dynamic load cases
- Conduct detailed structural analysis of components
- Create and optimize mesh models
- Evaluate damage tolerance, environmental resistance, and strength
- Work with mechanical testing and interpretation of test results
- Document and present analysis results to project teams and clients
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is technically interested, analytical, and has a strong drive to develop within structural analysis. You thrive in a role where you can work independently, but also closely with others in a competent and engaged team.
We believe you have:
- Master's degree in engineering physics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in the industry in a similar role
- Good knowledge of FEM and experience with both static and dynamic analyses
- Familiarity with software such as HyperWorks, MSC Nastran, ANSA, META, Matlab, Python, and MathCad
- The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with damage tolerance and working with composite materials
- Familiarity with aviation standards and environmental resistance requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical testing
